Thaiboat is a floating restaurant located on Östgötagatan by the Hammarby canal. You will find fantastic food, exotic drinks, sandy beach, ice cold beer and wonderful people and atmosphere.Thaiboat was built in 1953 and delivered as a tugboat with the name HEKTOR.

Hektor was initially placed at Orlogsvarvet in Karlskrona and ownership was later moved to Försvarets Materielverk, Stockholm. It was privatized in 1978 and then rebuilt in 1979 and 1983 into a Viking ship-like boat and used as a tourist sightseeing vessel. From 2003, Hektor is used as a restaurant boat and was named Thaiboat.
